Raffle Rules & Regulations

All raffles begin at the time of first availability at thenewsquiz.org. Deadlines for entry for each sweepstake vary as specified below. To enter the raffle without taking a quiz, send an email to raffle@thenewsquiz.org. One entry per person. All entries must be completed to be eligible.
These raffles are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire. By entering raffles, entrant consents to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Grafton County, New Hampshire for resolution of all disputes. Winner(s) will be selected in a random drawing approximately one week after first availability. Once submitted, entries become the sole property of TheNewsQuiz.org. Winners will be notified by email. If potential winner cannot be reached after 10 days from first notification attempt, or if an entrant is found to be ineligible, or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, such prize will be forfeited. Entrants need not be present to win. In the event the winner declines the prize or if the prize is forfeited as stated above, another winner will be selected. In the event the second winner declines the prize or if the prize is forfeited, as stated above, the prize may be designated for another raffle or forfeited all together. Persons affiliated with TheNewsQuiz.org are ineligible to win. Winner may be required to sign a general release of claims and acceptance of prize, and a receipt. Winner is responsible for all taxes associated with the prize, including if the prize is forfeited after acceptance. No substitution will be allowed and prizes may not be redeemed for cash or other consideration. Winner will not receive difference between actual and approximate retail value of a prize. Prizes are non-transferable.
TheNewsQuiz.org is not responsible or liable for multiple entries completed or entered by other than human means or entries that are late (including delayed data transmissions), tampered with, illegible, mutilated, forged, destroyed, incomplete, garbled, lost, misdirected, mechanically duplicated, mass machine printed, postage-due, or otherwise not in compliance with TheNewsQuiz.org Raffle Rules and Regulations (and such entries will be disqualified). Information about the prize winners is available by emailing a request for the information to admin@thenewsquiz.org.
Prize is as specified from time to time at thenewsquiz.org. The deadline to enter/draw date is specified in the entry confirmation email. Dates, times, deadlines, price, and prizes subject to change. Estimated odds of winning are determined by the number of entries received.
